CE Marked Riot Helmet
ARGUS PUBLIC ORDER HELMET NOW CE MARKED
The Argus APH05T public order helmet, already approved to UK PSDB standard certification, has now obtained CE accreditation for use throughout Europe.
The Argus APH range of helmets provide an increased level of protection and comfort and was developed specifically to meet the HOSDB standard 21/04 written for public order helmets.
Key features of the Argus APH helmets include the outer shell, impact liner and optical quality 3 mm Polycarbonate visor which provide an increased level of protection from impact, flammable liquids and solvents. The helmet also has a replaceable neck guard and quick release chinstrap.
The 3mm polycarbonate visor can also be retro-fitted on other helmets in the Argus range that continue to remain approved to the previous PAS017 standard.
With the facility to accept radio comms equipment the helmet shell is also fitted with liquid resistant metal gauze audio apertures that enable local commands to be heard independently of radio communications.
