Royal Malaysian Navy Cromwell Echo Training
Following the purchase of the ECHO fire fighters helmet with built in communications by the Royal Malaysian Navy, a training course in the use and maintenance of the helmet has been completed at the RMN’s fire fighting and damage control base in Lumut.

The course was organised by the RMN and Lt Cdr (R) Noradzmi Nayan, the Managing Director of HISL’s representatives for the ECHO, ProSpectrum Sdn Bhd.
Personnel from several RMN bases attended the training course enabling them to both use the equipment for base and onboard fire fighting, and to train additional personnel as use of the helmet is extended to the RMN fleet.
The unique integrated duplex radio feature of the ECHO enables fire teams and fire control officers to communicate and therefore operate safely and effectively in the difficult conditions associated with fire and damage control operations onboard ships.
