New Air Supplied Respiratory Helmets

Helmet Integrated Systems Ltd. (HISL) has extended its Pureflo powered respiratory helmet range with the introduction of new airline supplied units which will make their debut on Stand No D23

These new lightweight helmet and face shield combinations, with hard hat and bump cap options, combine head, face and respiratory protection with a continuous supply of clean air from an independent compressed air supply, via a waist mounted flow airflow control regulator.

Offering variable flow rates and fitted with deodorising carbon cartridges the Pureflo ABS is available in a choice of models to protect against chemical and impact hazards including dusts, particulates, gases, vapours, mists, fumes and high speed particulates. Waist belt regulators connect to the headpiece with a quick release fitting and can be supplied with an additional take-off point for air tools and hoses.

A welding shield option is also available which fits easily and quickly to the standard headpiece and face shield.

Incorporating a fully adjustable headband assembly the compact and stylish Pureflo ABS units are fitted with an easily replaced comfort pad and feature a low noise air delivery tube fitted with an ‘end of the line’ low flow warning device.

The wide-view face shields offer high levels of impact, chemical and abrasion resistance.

All models in the Pureflo ABS range are certified in accordance with EN132 / BS4275.
