The South African Navy Purchase Echo
The South African Navy are the latest customer to purchase the ECHO fire fighters helmet with built in communications, for use during fire and damage control operations.
The helmets were supplied by HISL's distributor Environmental Safety for use on the new 'Valour' Class MEKO A-200 anti-air frigates and other ships in the fleet.
The ECHO was developed for and is used on, all UK RN surface ships and submarines and is also currently under trial with several other Navies.
